This policy explains how Rulebound AI Pvt Ltd ("Rulebound", "we", "us") handles personal data you submit through this website. It covers the website only — not the Rulebound product, which is governed by your customer agreement.

What we collect

When you complete our contact form, we collect the details you provide: first and last name, work email, phone number (optional), company name, your message, and your consent choices. We also record the country your submission comes from (derived from your IP address by our hosting provider) to help prevent abuse and keep the form secure.

How we collect it

We collect this information directly from you when you fill in and submit the contact form. We do not buy personal data or gather it about you from other sources. The country signal is derived automatically from your connection by our hosting provider at the moment you submit.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use these details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo, communicate with you about it, and — if you opt in — to send you occasional updates and product-marketing communications about Rulebound. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw consent (including for marketing) at any time by emailing [email protected].

How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data safe, and we require the service providers who process it on our behalf to do the same. No online service can be completely secure, but we regularly review and improve our safeguards.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We store and process your submission using Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, which acts as our processor and handles the data only to operate this website. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Beyond this, we do not share your details with any third-party email, marketing, or form-processing service.

International transfers

We host your data with Cloudflare, configured to store it in the Asia-Pacific region. Because Cloudflare operates a global network, some limited processing may take place on servers elsewhere, under the provider's data-protection safeguards and in a manner permitted by applicable law.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run website analytics that profile you. The only browser storage we use is a small local preference that remembers your light/dark theme choice. We use Cloudflare's bot-protection to tell humans from bots on the form; it is designed to preserve privacy and does not track you across websites.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to maintain our business relationship or send communications you have opted into — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Children

This is a business website intended for professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under India's DPDP Act 2023 and the GDPR), you may have the right to access information about the personal data we hold about you, to correct or erase it, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict processing.
